Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to grooming services provided by ShaggyGo ("we", "us") at Lützner Str. 7, 04177 Leipzig, Germany, and to use of the website shaggygo.com. By booking a service or using the website, you agree to these terms.

1. Bookings

Appointments are confirmed by email or phone. A booking is not confirmed until you receive a written confirmation from us. We reserve the right to decline bookings at our discretion, including for animals whose temperament or health poses a risk to the animal or our staff.

2. Cancellation and rescheduling

We ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in us requesting a deposit for future bookings or declining to rebook. We will give you the same notice if we need to reschedule on our end.

3. Your pet's health

You must inform us before the appointment of any health conditions, injuries, skin conditions, or behavioural issues that may affect the grooming session. We reserve the right to stop or shorten a session if we judge it to be unsafe or distressing for the animal, and to charge for the time spent.

We are not a veterinary service. If we notice something that warrants veterinary attention during a session, we will let you know. Acting on that observation is your responsibility.

4. Animals with matting

Severely matted coats require additional time and may incur additional charges. In some cases the only appropriate option is a shave-down. We assess the coat on arrival and communicate our approach before proceeding. De-matting carries a small risk of skin irritation in areas where matting is close to the skin; this is inherent to the process and not the result of negligence.

5. Pricing

Prices are agreed at the time of booking based on the service selected and information provided. Final charges may differ if the coat condition or appointment duration differs significantly from what was described. We will communicate any change before completing the session.

6. Website content

The coat guides and quiz tools on shaggygo.com are provided for informational purposes. They do not constitute veterinary advice. If you have concerns about your pet's health, consult a qualified veterinarian.

7. Liability

We take care of your animal as we would our own. In the unlikely event that an animal is injured during a grooming session due to our negligence, our liability is limited to the cost of veterinary treatment directly resulting from that injury. We are not liable for pre-existing conditions that become apparent during grooming.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by German law. The courts of Leipzig have jurisdiction for any disputes arising from these terms.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always at this URL. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the current Terms.
